Abstract In this article, we introduce the special issue on conceptualising nexus between macro‐level ‘turbulence’ and worker experience . We discuss as economic, political, social, technological, environmental crises occurring in macro‐environment affecting world of work. argue that human resource management plays a critical role supporting not only organisation, but also workers, to navigate through events.
